Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dryer.
Regular Cleaning of the Fluff Filter
To ensure efficient operation, clean the fluff filter after each drying program. Check for any remnants or fluff in the drum and remove them immediately to prevent blockages.
Proper Laundry Preparation
Before drying, ensure that laundry is well spun to reduce drying time. Close zip fasteners, button-up bed linen and pillowcases, and tie-together loose tapes to prevent tangled bundles.
Avoid Overloading
Observe the maximum load capacity for each program to prevent prolonged drying times and potential damage to the dryer.
Ensure Correct Program Selection
Select the appropriate drying program for the type and quantity of laundry being dried to achieve optimal results.
Check and Clean Spent Air Ducts
Regularly inspect the spent air removal ducts for blockages. Ensure there are no kinks in the spent air hose to prevent disturbances in air removal.
